Lining Up The Putt

June 29, 2020

It looks simple. A straight shot, no hills or twists to calculate. Just tap the ball so it rolls into the cup. But it's not simple, whether outside on the course or indoors at Golden Pond. More accurately, it's frustrating fun. When you see your shot so close to going in, you have to do it again, and again. Our putters work to control their breathing and relax. They learn that their stroke has to be firm, but at the same time, not too hard. They channel Jack Nicklaus at The Masters Tournament. And when they finally do make the putt, it's such a joyous moment.
