Residents Adjusting To Covid-19 Crisis

March 19, 2020

All of us at Golden Pond are making adjustments to deal with the Covid-19 crisis. Thank you to our residents and their family members for understanding the need for change and for their patience.

Communal dining is still being offered to ensure our residents remain engaged and connected, whenever possible, during these times of social distancing. Of course, our residents are carefully screened for signs and symptoms of any contagious illness prior to joining in communal dining. They are enjoying the extra attention and appreciate the concern and time of our very dedicated resident care aides and wellness nurses.

In the photos above, Christine is enjoying a great mystery novel in the company of her friends. The group is singing or engaging as they are waiting for their meal to be served.

Dan has been a resident here at Golden Pond for the past two years. His family lives locally, yet due to not being able to spend time with them, Dan is keeping busy reading the local newspapers, talking on the phone and engaging with us here at Golden Pond.
