Country View is a boutique memory care unit designed with lots of natural light, cozy common spaces and dedicated staffing. Our program benefits residents who are beginning to experience mild memory impairment by providing the extra support needed to live well in a secure setting. Country View residents participate in engaging, stimulating and social activities that begin each morning and end each evening. Our innovative program encourages residents to make their own decisions and helps them to stay active and live their lives with as much independence as possible.
Country View is in a small separate neighborhood providing a safe, pleasant and

A beautiful country mural greets you as you enter the unit. Environmental cues using lighting, colors and design promote a sense of well being and independence. Our remembrance station is in the common area designated to give residents the opportunity to practice specific life skills. Themes are selected to resonate with the life stories of the residents.
Several residents can participate in this station at one time.
Furniture and props for each station are picked by our staff because they are
reminiscent of a time in the past when residents may have put them to use.
Some examples of journey care station themes are teachers, veterans, homemaker,
gardener, home decorating and kitchen chores.

*Visiting kits are a collection of items that relate to a theme and are used to help support conversations about past memories. We have done activity kits with themes such as traveling, weddings, gardening, parenting, etc. We find that activity kits are easy ways for Country View team members, families and volunteers to engage in meaningful social interaction with and among residents. Kits can be made and personalized by families for their loved one. We keep kits in resident units and in common areas.
